Lanny Rosenquist, the owner and operator of Aquetech holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Northern Iowa. His interest and passion for finding groundwater was encouraged early in life by his father, the late Dwayne Rosenquist, who owned and operated R&R Well Company for over 50 years and passed on a legacy of excellence in locating, drilling and maintaining water wells in the farming communities of Iowa.

Through his studies at the university, Lanny extended his depth of knowledge and expanded his vision on a critical subject, which is frequently overlooked by the general public.

"There is nothing new about water" says Lanny. "It is still the most vital and life sustaining substance on earth".

Yet the reality is, there are many regions throughout the world, which lack ample water supplies due to climate and geographical constraints. Lanny’s mission is to close the gap between the “have’s” and the “have not’s” where water is concerned.

Following in the tradition of the modern American innovator, Lanny immersed himself in independent research, spending countless hours constructing new instruments, taking geophysical measurements in various regions of the United States, researching the current methods and trends in groundwater location and integrating his discoveries with today’s most advanced technologies. The results have been inspirational. Lanny obtained a patent on his research and in the process, he discovered correlating methods for locating oil.

It is his passion for geology, his technical savvy and Midwestern ability to “get the job done”, that has kept Lanny pushing the envelope on what can be accomplished in the field of groundwater and oil location.
